Training of Trainers in Bamako

From the 9th to the 13th of December 2024, Community Systems Foundation conducted a training of trainers in Bamako, Mali with regard to the Communal Resilience project. CSF’s training workshop was attended by the representatives from ODHD, INSTAT and the regional offices of UNICEF (Gao and Timbuktu).

A multifaceted mission with many goals, the workshop covered various aspects : sensitizing the participants on the concept of resilience with special focus on children to boost local development, introduce to them the Mali IPC Resilience platform - developed to facilitate data collection at the commune level through a digital questionnaire built on indicators meant to measure the capacities of the communes when faced with shocks ; i.e., their prevention, absorption, adaptation and transformation. 

The participants of this workshop will support the pilot of the project that will be conducted in the 20 communes in 4 regions of Mali in 2025, namely Gao, Segou, Timbuktu, and Mopti.
